The Industrial Development Bank (IDB) participated today in the annual event organized by the Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Friends Association, which included a walking and running marathon covering distances of 5 and 10 kilometers, held at the New Giza Sports Club.
The event witnessed wide participation from employees across various departments and branches of the bank, who were eager to attend in support of the event, promoting team spirit, communication, and the importance of physical well-being among the bank’s staff through sports.
The Industrial Development Bank’s participation in this event, under the patronage of Mr. Hussein Refai, CEO and Managing Director, reaffirms its developmental role and its continuous support for community initiatives that contribute to enhancing education, creativity, and the inclusion of people with disabilities into society, with a special focus on underprivileged areas.
Proceeds from the marathon tickets will be allocated to support the developmental and cultural initiatives provided by the association in Upper Egypt, further enhancing the bank’s positive impact on the local community.
This participation highlights the bank’s efforts to promote a culture of teamwork and unity, in addition to its role as a leading financial institution committed to providing added value to Egyptian society.
